Selection Event Trial for 32nd Asian Cycling Championship and 19th Junior Cycling Championship

Schedule for trial event:
0730: Men’s Junior (born in 1994 and later), 1993 NOT eligible (24km)
0800: Women’s Elite (born in 1993 and earlier), 1994 NOT eligible (24km)
0830: Men’s U23 (born BETWEEN 1993-1990) 1989 NOT eligible (36km)
0900: Men’s Elite (born 1993 and earlier), 1994 NOT eligible (36km)
Eligibility to open to all CITIZENS and PR’s of SINGAPORE. PR’s must NOT have represented another country at an international UCI level race in the past 2 years as of 1st Jan 2012.
Riders who are participate in Men’s U23 WILL NOT be considered for the Men’s Elite category and vice-versa even if they meet the age criteria.
Riders MUST ensure that ALL their equipment adhere to UCI Technical rules pertaining to Time Trial Bicycles and the Rider position on the bike.
Juniors MUST ensure that their gearing conforms to the MAXIMUM roll-out ratio as stipulated in the Rules and Regulations.
The WINNER of each category will be the Singapore Cycling Federation’s 1st choice NOMINATED rider to the 2012 Asian Cycling Championships held in KL, Malaysia.
Each Country can ONLY be represented by ONE rider per category for the Individual Time Trial event.
The SECOND and THIRD placers of each category will be our 2nd and 3rd choice RESERVES in the event that the WINNER declines or is unable to compete.
The WINNER of each category will ALSO be given ONE automatic PLACE in the respective ROAD RACE of the 2012 Asian Cycling Championships held in KL, Malaysia. FAILURE to participate in the Individual Time Trial event at the 2012 ACC will renegade the ROAD RACE spot on the FOUR Man/Woman ROAD RACE Team.
