Japan dominates podium at 8th Asian BMX Championship
SINGAPORE, 19 May 2013 Japan dominated the podium at the 8th Asian BMX Championship, capturing two gold, three silver and two bronze medals to more than double the medal haul of any other country on Sunday at Tampines Bike Park. More than 40 riders representing eight countries participated in the competition, which was the first-ever Asian Cycling Championship held in Singapore. SCF has arranged for our former Development Squad rider Noel Teh Jing Long to be attached to the UCI Junior Training course in Aigle. He has been based there from mid July till about end September See article here We are now making a similar arrangement to send one of our BMX Development Squad riders to Aigle for a six week training session commencing towards the end of September.

This Programme is designed to provide coaches with the opportunity to study and practice all aspects of coaching under the guidance of the World Cycling Centre Team based in Aigle, Switzerland. It is aimed at coaches that are currently coaching their National Team or athletes of that level. Course fees will be CHF 8,000.
