SCF is a society registered with the National Registrar of Societies inSingapore. SCF is thus governed by a constitution approved by ROS. The overall management of SCF activities is currently performed through the volunteer services of the SCF Management Committee, and a core team of paid staff.
The present SCF Management Committee was voted in at the Annual General Meeting held on 7th September 2012 and will serve a rolling series of terms. This is to ensure continuity in SCF’s leadership at the same time allow for the introduction of new members and new ideas to the Committee. Subsequent to the AGM there have been changes to the Composition of the Management Committee.
The 2013 AGM of SCF is scheduled by September 2013. More details of this upcoming AGM will be released when the date is finalised.
Some of the existing Members will be completing their term of office and those Posts will be up for election. Others will have completed the first year of their two year term. These Posts will not be up for election.
SCF’s activities are governed by an annual workplan that is approved by SSC, and for which quarterly KPIs are set and reported on. The workplan is integral to the SCF Cycling Strategic Plan.
SCF complies with Code Of Governance set by the SSC, and has adopted the SSC Human Relations management guidelines. SCF is also compliant with the SSC Code Of Athlete Management, including aspects of Athlete Agreements, Anti-doping, and selection criteria for national cyclists.
SCF has established financial regulations that are in line with the SSC Financial Guidelines for NSAs, and its accounts are audited by external Certified Public Accountants. In line with SSC’s Financial Regulations SCF submits quarterly statements of accounts for SSC verification.
