NCAP Integrated Course Jan 25th to 27th 2013
The Singapore Cycling Federation (SCF) will be conducting the next NCAP Integrated Level 1 Course at the end of January 2013. Successful Candidates will be awarded the National Coaching Accreditation Programme (NCAP) Integrated Level one (Cycling) by the Federation and the Singapore Sports Council (SSC)
NCAP is the national standard for coaching qualifications. To be NCAP certified a coach has to fulfill both Theory and Practical papers. The Friday and Saturday (25th and 26th) session will be Full day and will be conducted at Tampines Changkat CC. The Sunday Session will be a ‘Practical Session’ and will be held at Tampines Bike Park.
The Fee is $ 560 for the course. However those who already possess the NCAP Theory from SSC would be entitled to a discounted rate of $ 360.

The course will be conducted by Daniel Loy. Daniel holds a Diploma in Coaching issued by the UCI. The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) is the world controlling body for cycling. Their Diploma is the highest recognized coaching Certification.

In a separate announcement SCF will soon be announcing the launch of its Bronze Level Certification. Potential ‘Bronze Level Coaches’ will need to have at least an NCAP Level 1 (Cycling) before they qualify to be instructors for the Bronze Certification. If you are interested in becoming a ‘Bronze Level Coach’ and you do not yet have an NCAP, this course will be an ideal opportunity to meet this prerequisite. More information about the Bronze Coach Course will be released shortly.
